Fashion Swap in the Garden

Garden swap parties are becoming a long-standing tradition in our community. The first swap was held in the summer of 2024, combined with grant searching talks and a film screening. This time it was organized in the garden of one of the Abastan participants, at the initiative of Viviane, who had recently come to Tumanyan and fallen in love with the town and the scenic nature around it. With the help of friends she collected pre-loved clothes from the community and displayed them beautifully on tree branches in the garden. Our friends from Dilijan also joined, as did several furry friends. The swap was a treat for our wardrobes and our tastebuds alike: we were treated to fresh sourdough bread baked by Viviane and Armenian gata made by Anetta. Some of the most fashionable people and animals of Tumanyan attended the event, not only exchanging clothes but also making new connections with other visitors.
