About the project name:
We sifted through words, syllables, and languages — meanings and nonsense alike. We thought about ourselves, about others, wanting to have fun with a serious face. In the end, we landed on the native word for love:
lubvi paket (a packet of love). In Armenian they confirmed — lavek, lavek— is a good packet, the one that doesn’t get stuck in river branches or end up in a landfill. And from the Turkic family came the echo:
love earth. Since Armenia had given us shelter, we began saying LUV TOPRAK. Do you need a bag? A packet of love, of love for the earth beneath your feet, the earth that gives you shelter.
