Short Stop-Motion Film By Torfeh

byTorfeh
Torfeh: In the unique setting of Abastan residency, housed in an abandoned Soviet-era textile factory in Armenia, I created a short stop-motion film. Using wool, I crafted needle-felted puppets that symbolize parenthood and the profound decisions it entails. The central puppet, representing motherhood, moves amid the factory's machinery, symbolizing cycles and eternity. The film explores the intricacies of life, contemplating the decision to bring new life into a challenging world. Collaborating with Rita and Midori, we captured footage and composed music, weaving a narrative that delves into the complexities of existence.
